This issue might occur when some of the Windows update components got corrupted. I suggest you to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter and check if it resolves the issue.

It has been several hours with no change. I have restarted once and shut down and started once. When I go into Windows update it still shows the updates all waiting for download. User's post on September 17, Hi Santosh, Same problem ,trouble shooting finds nothing, it's 2 days now that w10 update is waiting I really think that Manually reset Windows Update components is too complicated, please what else can be done.

In reply to PablogilZ1's post on November 1, Hello, Apparently today the problem seems to be fixed without any action. Thank you anyway. I agree that the manual reset is way too complicated. We need Microsoft to provide a better solution.
